WILD HEARTS launches February 17, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC; first trailer and screenshots – Gematsu

Hunting action game WILD HEARTS will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Origin on February 17, 2023 for $69.99, publisher Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo studio Omega Force have announced.

Published under the EA Originals label and developed by Omega Force, the team behind the popular Warriors series, WILD HEARTS takes players on an epic adventure set in fantasy feudal Japan. There they will face giant nature-imbued beasts called Kemono with the aid of Karakuri, sophisticated mechanisms made from lost ancient technology.

WILD HEARTS takes place in Azuma, a fantasy landscape inspired by feudal Japan, which is now being ransacked by the once peaceful Kemono, altering their surroundings at the cost of the citizens’ lives. The Kemono lineup ranges from plant-infused squirrels to the massive boar Kingtusk. After a terrible fight with the winter wolf Deathstalker, players become carriers of vital technology and are forced to restore balance to the region.

In WILD HEARTS, players travel through Azuma as a lone wolf or hunt in packs with up to two friends using the game’s co-op and crossplay features across all platforms. Players can expand their battle plans and take on special missions while hunting in packs, join other hunters around the world, or take on Kemono on their own. The game will feature voiceovers in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
