Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine admitted on Tuesday he ‘crossed a line’ with an Instagram model, but denied cheating on his pregnant wife – as two other women came forward claiming the singer cheated on them sent dashing DMs.
Levine, 43, merely sent ‘flirty’ messages to Sumner Stroh, 23, who accused the tattooed father-of-two of having a year-long affair with her in a now TikTok post viral.
“I showed poor judgment by speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY flirtatious way,” Levin said in a statement on Instagram. “I didn’t have an affair, yet I crossed the line during a regrettable time in my life. In some cases, it became inappropriate.
Levine has promised to work through the scandal with his wife Behati Prinsloo, a 34-year-old former Victoria’s Secret model. The couple have been married since 2014 and have two daughters, aged 5 and 4. The couple confirmed earlier this month that they are expecting their third child.
“My wife and family are all I care about in this world,” he continued. “Being so naive and stupid to risk the only thing that really matters to me was the biggest mistake I could make. I will never do it again. I take full responsibility. We’ll get through this and we’ll get through this together. »
Stroh claimed in the explosive video that garnered more than 15 million views that she had been in a relationship with the “Moves Like Jagger” singer for about a year when she “graduated college in 2021.”
She said she hadn’t spoken to Levine in months, however, when he texted her out of the blue in June, saying he wanted to name his unborn son “Sumner.”
“Okay serious question,” Levine reportedly wrote in the June 1 post. “I’m having another baby and that’s w [sic] boy, I really want to call him Sumner. Are you okay with that? DEATH seriously.
Stroh – who is originally from Texas but now lives in Los Angeles – claims she only went public with her story after it was sold by a friend, who allegedly went to an unidentified tabloid with screenshots of Levine’s racy messages screen.
Page Six readers want to know…
“It’s really unreal how sexy you are. Like it blows my mind,” he allegedly texted her.
Stroh told Page Six that the alleged affair happened “last year” and was “physical, yes, but I’m not saying anything more.”
After Levine’s refusal, Stroh appeared to shade Levine in a cryptic Instagram post.
“Someone give this man a dictionary,” she posted.
Meanwhile, two other women have shared alleged screenshots of flirty messages with Levine following the controversy, TMZ reported.
In a green-screen TikTok video on Monday, Alyson Rosef claimed Levine texted her, “I shouldn’t talk to you, you know [that] right?” ??”
Another woman, comedian Maryka, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to share her alleged DMs to Levine, which began with her alleged post that read, “I’m now obsessed with you.”
“Dude, aren’t you married,” Maryka replied, to which the singer reportedly replied, “Yeah, but it’s a bit complicated.”
Levine has not publicly addressed either of the women’s claims.
Stroh has come under fire on TikTok, with many claiming she is a grown woman who has apparently expressed no remorse for her alleged affair with a married man.
She said in a separate TikTok video on Monday that she “fully realizes[s]she is “not the victim” of the situation.
“It’s not me who’s hurt in this. It’s Behati and her kids,” Stroh continued. “And for that, I’m so, so sorry.”
She later took to Instagram Stories to discuss the blowback she received over her claims.
“Conscious people will try to fill in the gaps with many false assumptions. I don’t feel like I’m doing a favor given how it must have turned out,” Stroh said. “It’s a lot to digest, but I hope that at the very least the truth can do some good.”
Stroh also posted a video from “Part 2” on Monday night, saying she felt “disgusted” with herself.
“I’m disgusted and so ashamed of the pain and hurt I’ve caused,” she said. “I didn’t want to sound like I was whining, so that wasn’t said in this video.”
