Singer P!nk got personal in a series of tweets attacking Republicans on Sunday, in response to Friday’s Supreme Court announcement quashing landmark abortion cases Roe vs. Wade and Family planning c. Casey.
The three-time Grammy winner addressed the issue earlier on Saturday, posting an expletive-laden tweet encouraging anyone who opposes abortion to never listen to her music again – and apparently provoked a response.
“Let’s be clear: If you think government belongs in a woman’s womb, or business, or gay marriage, or that racism is okay, THEN PLEASE, IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD, NEVER LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO F*** RIGHT OFF. We ok?” she tweeted.

“Judging by album sales lately, I don’t think she has to worry about anyone listening to her music lol,” Kyle Lamb replied.
David Leatherwood added“Attention ladies and gentlemen: @Pink joins the ranks of FORMER gay icons who have officially lost their minds, hot on the heels of @Madonna @cher @BetteMidler @BarbraStreisand.”
“Are you still making music?” Ryan James Girdusky asked.
One woman even admitted that P!nk helped save her life when she was suicidal, but said she wouldn’t listen anymore if that was really how the singer felt.
“Wow Alecia. Tell us how you really feel. I had a playlist when I was 17 that I listened to when I was suicidal. Your song ‘Perfect’ was my favorite. I exhausted it. It saved my life. But it’s good. I won’t listen anymore because I don’t think we should kill humans,” she said. said.
The singer responded to criticism on Sunday saying, “I think all of our nerves are collectively fried from so many years of racism, misogyny, homophobia, etc. + Pandemics, mass shootings, wars and utter madness, hypocrisy, ignorance of the GOP-that’s a bit much. But we will stay together. The good will outweigh the bad.”

She followed that up with a personal attack on those who had made fun of her music career, adding, “And to all of you sad, old white men asking me if I’m still making music. I realize you are offline, so ask your kids…. Oh wait, you can’t. They hate you.

Critics also responded to this tweet, saying no kids actually listen to P!nk anyway.
