Ezra Miller seems to be relaxed and carefree these days despite their long list of legal troubles.
The actor, who walks past them, was pictured hanging out with their mother, Marta Miller, on the porch of their Vermont home on Monday, a day after their third arrest of the year.
The 29-year-old ‘Flash’ star now sports a full mustache, which curled upward along the toothless grin they flashed the paps. They didn’t even get up from their chairs or put down their phones for the impromptu meeting.
Marta, however, apparently wasn’t as okay with the situation, as photographers captured her rising from her seat and grimacing while seemingly shouting in their direction. A photo published by the Daily Mail even showed her mid-sentence with a disapproving finger in the air.
On Sunday, Ezra was charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling for allegedly breaking into a home in Stamford, Vermont, and stealing several bottles of liquor in May.
The ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower’ star has also been arrested twice in Hawaii — once in March for disorderly conduct, which they did not contest, and again the following month for allegedly throwing a chair at a woman.
Vermont State Police cited Ezra with the burglary charge during one of their visits to the actor’s Stamford estate to try to locate the young family he has been harboring since mid-April.
According to Rolling Stone, officers were looking for the 25-year-old mother and her three children – aged 5, 4 and 1 – to serve on her with an emergency care order requested by the state’s attorney’s office, which required the removal of children from both the property and its care.
The order was reportedly written out of fear for the children’s safety, as Ezra’s farm would be littered with guns, ammunition and marijuana.
Have a “bad feeling [his] womb,” the children’s father contacted the Vermont Department for Children and Families and local police in mid-May.
In June, the mum insisted to Rolling Stone that Ezra provided “a safe environment for [her] three very young children.
However, the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ star allegedly told cops over the weekend that the family hadn’t lived there in months, which the state’s attorney’s office said looked like an attempt to “to withdraw from the service” of the order.
VSP agents believe the actor may be covering up the family’s whereabouts.
Rolling Stone also noted that the mother posted on social media daily from the property until mid-July, when her account went dark and appeared to be deleted.
Ezra was also accused of ‘grooming’ a teenager and had a restraining order taken out against them by another woman and her 12-year-old child.
Representatives for the actor did not respond to our numerous requests for comment.
